Bavanat, along and narrow valley alongside Zagros border
dived into two different parts. The west part has a moderate
and cool weather, while in the opposite part -east of this
glen, because of adjacent with Marvest and Abarqu desert,
low height and less rain, the weather is warm and dry.
This sensible difference in height in its two sides causes
that the weather condition, plant integument, soil, living
creature and even living styles changes in a short distance
and becomes totally different.
In winter, elevations and west part is completely covered
with snow, in some parts there is snow on the grounds in
nine months of a year. But in the east there wasn’t any snow
in the recent century. In the cold regions foothill, you can
see walnut and almond trees and their jungles with 20
kilometers length and approximate two kilometers width, but
in the east part there are just resistant against dryness
plant in the desert margin.
Living condition, population and people's activity mostly
depends on weather of that part. Bavanats green valley,
fruit garden and agriculture, is indebted to the existence
of Bavanat River and it causes a special freshness to the
area.
Actually life style –here- is like 100 years ago, and people
use just the basic elements for passing life.
On the other hand, you will visit an original and fresh
nature beside an old history.
